Do you struggle w body image?

Oh yeah. I’ve never been “skinny,” I’ve always had hips, thighs, and a booty. In college I put on weight, so I’m trying to get back to where I feel more comfortable. But it’s important to remember that no matter how flawless you think another person’s body is, they too struggle w their body image at times. We all need to practice more self love. I know I do, I’ve been very hard on myself this summer.

Just giving it where it's due is all, Kate. Will you ever return to the Bay?

Yes, and I can’t wait!

Your ex was a pretty ripped dude... Do you only like muscles?

The guy I was seeing over the last half of senior year was skin and bones. But his hands were big and warm and knew how to cup my feet and hold my head. I don’t have a type, I don’t “only date” or “only like” anything. I like genuine and loving and upfront. The thing he had in common with my ex was that they were both fearless when it came to being vulnerable and affectionate. I don’t mind muscles or bones, but I mind playing games or playing it too cool.

I’m definitely Pro-Selfie. I think that anybody who’s Anti-Selfie is really just a hater. Because, truthfully, why shouldn’t people take pictures of themselves ? When I’m on Instagram and I see that somebody took a picture of themselves, I’m like ‘Thank You’.
I don’t need to see a picture of the sky, the trees, plants. There’s only one you.
I could Google image search ‘the sky’ and I would probably see beautiful images to knock my socks off. But I can’t google, you know ‘what does my friend look like today?’
For you to be able to take a picture of yourself that you feel good enough about to share with the world - I think that’s a great thing
